Elementary Students Celebrate Earth Day

Congratulations to all our elementary students who participated in Whitpain Township’s 30th annual Earth Day art and poetry contest. At a celebration at Prophecy Creek Park last week, students were recognized for their environmentally focused art and poetry. Special shoutout to our 1st place winners who read their poems at the celebration.

Rise and Read

Thanks to all of our amazing parents and grandparents who joined our staff and students at the Rise and Read sessions for Read Across America Week. Kickstarting the day with this special bonding experience helped build our students' literacy skills and foster a love of reading! 📚🥰 

BBE Students Use Detective Thinking Skills

Shoutout to our Blue Bell Elementary first graders who participated in a presentation to the school board on the Primary Educational Thinking Skills (PETS) Program. Aong with Enrichment Teacher Mrs. Wendler, the students explained the different types of critical thinking and deductive logic skills that they use to learn - just like a detective! 

BBE Celebrates Grand Opening of New Addition

At a ribbon cutting ceremony on January 7, Blue Bell Elementary celebrated the completion of the new cafetorium, classrooms, bus loop and parking areas. Students, families, staff, School Board, and community members attended the grand opening celebration, followed by a tour of the new area, and the first band and choral concert held in the cafetorium.

WHS and BBE Pen Pals Connect

Mrs. Reckeweg’s 9th grade students and Mrs. Neft’s 4th grade students are making connections! The students have been writing letters to each other as part of a Pen Pal Program started last year. In December and May, the students get to visit each other's school. Check out the high school class visiting BBE. You can see the great bond between them!

Winter Concert Showcases: Such a Delight!

We are so proud of our talented singers at Blue Bell who do such an exceptional job with their winter showcases. Students prepare for these shows in music class with Mrs. Swillo and perform for our families. So much fun!

The Blue Bell construction project, which began June 2023, will provide us with much needed classroom space, a new multi-purpose room and updated facilities to accommodate our growing enrollment.
