WSD Launches New Bus Safety Program
WSD is partnering with our local law enforcement and BusPatrol to launch a new school bus safety enforcement program beginning September 30. All WSD buses will be outfitted with photo enforcement technology to detect the license plates of vehicles that fail to stop for school buses, putting children at risk.
BBE Construction Updates
The Blue Bell construction project, which began June 2023, will provide us with much needed classroom space, a new multi-purpose room and updated facilities to accommodate our growing enrollment.
Blue Bell Designated as No Place for Hate
Blue Bell Elementary is proud to be designated No Place for Hate. During the 2024-2025 school year, administrators, students, staff, and families will play a key role in actualizing the district’s No Place for Hate goals, plans and activities.

Kindergarten Registration Reminder
Don't Forget! Children turning 5 on or before September 1, 2024 are eligible to enter Kindergarten at Wissahickon School District. Registration is encouraged by March 1, 2024.

Each month, our schools incorporate lessons and activities that support social emotional learning (SEL) skills -- self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making.
